Chronoception - Short Film

A short film and publication exploring femininity as a construct and the societal pressure of women’s value being tied to our youth. Although other less superficial aspects of women’s worth are being acknowledged more today, the persistent emphasis on our physical appearance reveals how deeply entrenched objectification remains in our interpretations of women. The perpetual turnover of product consumption in pursuit of unattainable beauty standards and age reversal is a profitable market that a capitalist society strives to maintain.
